Sue Ledwell, the Clearinghouse’s Northeast Regional Director of Higher Education Development, will travel this week to Massachusetts to meet with attendees of the New England Datatel User Group (NERDug) 2017 Conference. NERDug – an organization helping those in New England, New York, Canada and other surrounding areas to collaborate and foster growth using Ellucian’s software products – will host a variety of student services’ sessions at the annual conference.

On Wednesday, July 26 at 3 pm in the Cole Porter room, attendees will learn about recent changes impacting institutions that use the Clearinghouse in a session titled, “National Student Clearinghouse Reporting Changes.” Sue Benevides, Student Information Systems Records and Reporting Analyst at Roger Williams University, will discuss the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) focus on schools fixing their errors from roster to roster. These errors are different from errors associated with Clearinghouse enrollment reporting files. This presentation is intended for intermediate users.

Ledwell will lead the “Optimizing Your Office Efficiencies: What’s New at the Clearinghouse?” presentation on Thursday, July 27 at 12 pm in the Hammerstein room. Conference attendees will explore ways to improve processes in their office and learn what the Clearinghouse is doing to help higher education even more in the future. She will share updates about new initiatives such as our student portal, StudentTracker Premium service, developments in Reverse Transfer and veterans’ compliance reporting, as well as our popular outreach and training resources.

Ledwell and other Clearinghouse staff will be attending numerous conferences and hosting Clearinghouse Academy sessions throughout the 2017-2018 academic year. She and our staff look forward to supporting you and your institution!
