We are excited to share our latest service enhancements to meet the unique and diverse customer care needs that you, your students, alumni, requestors and the extended education community expect from the National Student Clearinghouse. These new services, which are part of our exciting journey this academic year, enable us to better serve you and include:
- User friendly 24/7 “My Student Center” site
- Integrated customer relationship management system
- Easier-to-use online help
User Friendly 24/7 “My Student Center” Site
We have redesigned our “My Student Center” site to enable students and alumni to quickly find answers to the most common questions about transcripts, verifications, and student loans whenever and however they want. We will continue to have our dedicated live customer service team available as well.
As partners serving students and alumni together, we encourage postsecondary institutions to include the link to “My Student Center,” mystudentcenter.org, to your online student resources.
Integrated Customer Relationship Management System
The Clearinghouse has implemented an integrated customer relationship management (CRM) system to enable us to provide you with a seamless customer experience, as well as enhance collaboration and communications among our teams.
The new CRM will help us:
- Quickly identify customer issues and track them through resolution
- Provide real-world feedback to our technical and product teams
- Offer a comprehensive view of customer interactions across the organization as well as at different levels
Whenever you email us at email@example.com, you’ll receive a unique case number. For fastest service, whenever you contact us about the same issue, please use your case number.
Easier-to-Use Online Help
It’s easier than ever to get the answers you need on Clearinghouse services whenever you need them. Our new online help’s intuitive navigation, mobile friendly content, and powerful search provides you with immediate access to information 24/7. You can access our online help via our Help Center and online applications.
The Customer Care team, and the rest of the Clearinghouse, are hard at work on other enhancements that will expand the service and support we provide to our users. One of the exciting initiatives that we’re working on is the ability for you to reach the Clearinghouse, no matter what you need help with, using one phone number or one email address. We are just getting started, more is on the way!
